It has been a while, but delay is not denial. The iQHAWE dossier is back, and she has a few things to say. It appears to be an especially good time to be a denim enthusiast, with a number of recent collaborations demonstrating the enduring cultural relevance and versatility of denim. As a denim lover myself, I am particularly excited about the G-STAR RAW x Wu-Tang Clan collection. The collaboration feels almost instinctive: a meeting of two cultural forces with longstanding relationships to self-expression, rebellion and identity. Its timing feels equally considered.
There is something particularly compelling about a fashion campaign that understands its core audience not simply who wears the clothes, but why they wear them and what those choices communicate about identity, culture and belonging. At its most effective, fashion marketing moves beyond product and becomes an articulation of the communities that give a brand cultural meaning.
The ASICS GEL-CUMULUS 16 campaign launch feels similarly reflective of this approach, demonstrating how heritage products can be recontextualised for contemporary audiences without losing the histories that make them significant. With the Spring/Summer 2027 collections beginning to take shape, the coming season promises to be an interesting one for fashion, collaboration and cultural storytelling. As always, The Dossier will be here to unpack it all.
PUMA x Daniëlle Cathari
PUMA reunites with Daniëlle Cathari to reimagine two of its most recognisable silhouettes, the Speedcat and Suede, through her understated approach to contemporary sportswear. Balancing PUMA’s performance heritage with subtle experimentation, the collection introduces a burgundy leather, laceless Speedcat inspired by the brand’s archives, alongside a soft blue Suede featuring a reworked wraparound Formstrip and premium finishes. Together, the collaboration gives two familiar classics a quieter, more considered identity through material, construction and unexpected detailing.
G-STAR and Wu-Tang Clan
G-STAR and Wu-Tang Clan have joined forces for a multi-year apparel collaboration that brings together the denim brand’s raw design language with the legendary hip-hop collective’s cultural legacy. The debut collection reimagines G-STAR’s signature denim washes and silhouettes through Wu-Tang detailing, alongside outerwear and knitwear, with an emphasis on craftsmanship rather than simply applying the group’s branding. The collaboration debuted with exclusive early access at G-STAR’s Atlanta store in September 2026, ahead of a wider global rollout, with additional drops including womenswear capsules planned for 2027.

Gucci’s Store Show
Gucci presents the Store Show which marks the first collection to fully express Demna’s vision for Gucci, presenting a new interpretation of the House through the contrasting personalities of the Rebellious Aristocrat, the Snob and the Eccentric. Staged within a retail-inspired environment, the collection previews the future aesthetic of Gucci stores while presenting menswear and womenswear as distinct yet connected worlds. Classic Italian codes, bourgeois dressing and Gucci’s equestrian heritage are reworked through sharp tailoring, exaggerated pagoda shoulders, cropped proportions, slouchy denim, tartan, leather and statement outerwear. House signatures including the Horsebit, bamboo handles, GG Marmont and Ophidia are similarly reimagined across accessories and footwear. Ultimately, the collection returns Gucci to the spirit of its origins at The Savoy, envisioning the House as a meeting place for different identities, personalities and worlds , a space where people can connect, inspire one another and become whoever they choose to be.
